About Me

I am a final year Computer Science undergraduate at Liverpool John Moores University with a strong interest in software development. Over two internships, I’ve worked on projects ranging from redesigning a marketing website to building KYC compliance platform. I enjoy working across the stack, from backend logic and data handling to user interfaces.

Currently looking for graduate roles in software engineering or backend development.

Software Developer Internship

Harker

Redesigned Harker’s marketing website by creating initial designs in Figma and implementing the final layouts in Framer
Conducted research into SaaS and charity websites to improve user engagement and clearly communicate Harker’s mission
Collaborated closely with a small startup team, iterating on designs based on product and marketing feedback to refine the user journey

Worked on a KYC compliance web application with fullstack functionality including UI design, frontend logic and backend integration.
Implemented backend database structures to manage and relate user and business data.
Integrated third-party APIs to automate document signing and verification workflows.
Collaborated directly with company directors to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

KYC Compliance Platform (Internship)

During my internship, I worked on a Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance web application, built on Toca.io. The platform is designed to streamline client onboarding, document submission and identity verification.

LJMU Module Q&A Portal

Built as part of my Mobile and Web Development module, this responsive Q&A portal for LJMU modules allows students to post questions and staff to provide answers, with votes prioritizing the most relevant issues.

Developed using HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript and PHP, with JSON for data storage.

Finance Tracker

A finance tracking website with features including category selection, data visualization and Excel download functionality. I built this to streamline the manual recording of financial data—a challenge I faced during my first year as Treasurer of the LJMU Pakistani Society.
